This is not a motivational book. It is a simple, practical and tested technology: a system that cuts delays in decisions and restores the ability to move forward fast, with confidence and inner strength.

Where this book comes from
I describe my role simply: I build systems that give a person clarity in change. Because without clarity there is no movement — don't wade in where you can't see the bottom.
I've been an entrepreneur since 2005. At twenty I was left with more than $50,000 in debt: 2008, the global crisis, a partner who simply vanished. I had to climb out alone. And the only way out was to do something other than what had led to the debt. The way out is always in something else.
Then came the largest online store for wireless-internet equipment in Ukraine. Growth, scale, partnerships, hiring, finance, production — and every time the same thing: to make a sound decision, there was never enough data. So how do you solve an equation that's missing data? That's what this book is about.
About universal principles that replace a thousand rules. About methods that hold up in the hardest circumstances. About simple ideas that give enough precision to decide. About the very clarity without which nothing moves.
The turning point came when I saw a simple formula: be — do — have. We plan to have something. To have it, you must do. And how you do it depends on who you are. Tools matter, but what decides is the level you use them from.

Clarity can be measured
Clarity isn't «positive thinking». It's when you make decisions and things in your life happen. As if you took off glasses where one lens magnified, another shrank, and the whole thing was too dark.
Clarity lives on six levels — from awareness to life. What steals it are delays: between «understood» and «did», between «decided» and «went». My job is to remove those delays, level by level.
Clarity → precision → speed. Speed is the absence of delays.
